How long should I expect to commit to therapy before it works?
There is no ideal number of therapy sessions that work for everyone but research shows that most people notice the biggest results when they are able to make a 3-month commitment.

Do you prescribe medication?
No, I do not prescribe medication. Therapists or counselors are mental health care providers who assist clients in psychotherapy and have their Masters in Counseling, mental health or social work. Psychologists are providers who assist clients with assessments and testing as well as therapy and have their PhD or PsyD. A psychiatrist is a medically trained physician with additional education in medication for psychiatric issues and have completed medical school. At this time, psychiatrists, physicians and some physician assistants or psychiatric nurses are the only mental health care providers who are able to prescribe medication.
